Letter from Mary A. Galloway of Latham Illinois (Thomas' birthplace) to Sarah Jane Galloway. 
On page 3, she mentions that "Matilda's suitor comes up to Wellington pretty often", 
a distance of over 75 miles.  They were married a couple of months later.
