Irene Neva Dibert Galloway
ROCKFORD - Irene Neva Dibert Galloway, 92, formerly of Rockford died at 3:40 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at Lima Manor Nursing Home in Lima. She was born Feb. 8, 1909, near Ithaca, Gratiot County, in Michigan, the daughter of the late Peter F. and Mabel (Colbry) Dibert. On Dec. 20, 1930, she married Samuel Robert Galloway, who died Aug. 5, 1993. Mrs. Galloway was a homemaker and a member of Lima Baptist Temple and its Adult Bible Class. She loved to travel and was a Bible student and prayer warrior and was loved by all who knew her. Survivors include four daughters, Jacquelyn Muter of St. Vincent, West Indies, Kay (Harold) Boley of Elida, Janet McCormick of Columbus and Jane (Bill) Seiling of Lima; two brothers, Larue Dibert of Owosso, Mich., and Carl Dibert of Alma, Mich.; two sisters, Maxine Witten of Van Wert and Velma Jones of Perrysburg; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Noble Dibert; a sister, Norma Baker; two grandchildren, Debra McCormick and Steve Muter, and a son-in-law, Robert Muter.
